We learned that Cosette was living a good life at all, she got barely any food, she wore bad clothes, and everyone was mean to her. She ended up living there for over 5 years. But for some reason she had not seen her mother for a long time. We were also wondering if the girl on the front cover of the book is Cosette.

Reflections on Fantine & Cosette

The advice that I would give to Fantine is to only trust those who she has known for a long time, don’t just trust people because they are nice to you. The moment Fantine gave up her kid was just a big face palm, like you barely know these people. Right away the husband seemed pretty suspicious by the way he was talking to Fantine. That moment showed what kind of person Fantine is, she’s desperate and stupid just to sum it up.

Decisions decisions

When it comes to Fantine, no, I don’t think she made a good decision at all. If she knew that having a kid wouldn’t be the best idea, then she would have been responsible. When it comes to Jean Valjean, I feel like he didn’t make the right choices, but what happened to him because of those actions is what made people think it was a good thing that he did it.

There are many ways you can keep your accounts MORE secured. One way is to enable 2 step authentication, that allows you to be notified when your account has been logged on to and gives you 2 steps when logging in. Then there's using different ways to make an email or password. To the point where you have to look at something to read your password because the characters are too random. There are some apps that allow you to text without being traced of what you're saying. Then there are some emails that are safer.

Graceland

I think what makes Graceland part of American literature is the fact that they were able to use lyrics and different genres of music in America to influence the flow of African music. They used what they knew and combined it with the culture behind the music made in Africa. They sang about things happening in America that African musicians wouldn't use or understand. In a way, it is like different countries having their own slang.

La strike

I can’t rewlly pick a side because I don’t understand the situation yet, but I did read the article on the strikes and I think the teachers could have been more professional when it came to deciding what to do. Usually, strikes don’t go anywhere and if anything just make people look bad (not always). They could have organized a meeting or something. But the situation about not being paid and all that I kind of blame the higher ups because they have all these resources that could help.
