Thoughts on today's reading

I'm posting this to Wednesday's reading because I forgot to post about it. When I was reading, most of the time was spent talking about how the main character was being bullied. It just had to do with one kid always trying to bring the main guy down by talking about his face condition. My question was if he was actually concerned about his face condition or was he just dumb enough to ask that type of question.
