Recipe for a happy life

The recipe for a happy adulthood doesn't always depend on someone's childhood. It's kind of hard to explain because there are different things that could happen. Like for example, someone can grow up happy living with a wealthy family, but at one point their life could turn around and they can't live as happy. Some more examples could be loss of a family member, becoming really poor, ending up with a physical or mental illness. The list can go on but basically, a happy childhood does not guarantee a good adulthood.
